5 French St. Patrick's Day Activities

These fun and engaging French Saint Patrick Day activities are a great addition to your classroom. Low-prep activities to keep your students engaged while learning French St. Patrick’s Day vocabulary. Can be used in centers, as a whole class activity and/or as independent work.

I hope that you and your students enjoy these Saint Patrick’s Day activities!

Bingo de la Saint-Patrick

Students can build their own Bingo card. Laminate and cut a copy of the pictos for yourself to pick from OR display them for the class and call out images at random.

I recommend practicing the bingo words beforehand. Our favourite way to do that as a class is a call and response method. Teacher says the word while pointing at the image, students repeat.

Mots cachés

Students find various St. Patrick’s Day words to discover the mystery letter! I love this activity for practicing vocab and letter recognition.

Coloriage magique

Number recognition and fine motor skills are essential skills for elementary students. This colour-by-number practices number recognition while working on fine motor skills to reveal a St. Patrick’s Day image.

Trouve les différences

My students love this activity! It is fun and relaxing and gets your students to practice being good observers. Simply find the 8 differences and circle them!

J'écris la salle de classe

Each student gets a recording sheet. Print, laminate and cut the pictos and hang them around the classroom. Students look for the pictos and record the word on their sheet. There are 2 bonus words that you can choose from.
